Not much. It is really hit or miss as far as vinyl goes. New vinyl selection is a small selection of indie stuff to appeal to the college kids but it is priced at full retail. Sometimes you find something awesome in their used vinyl; however, they don't price anything until you take it to the register and they look up what it is listed for on eBay; I don't think they use popsike to price things so sometimes it is way outrageous. However, sometimes things slip their attention, like the first edition Gish I got for $25. And I got a mint Dylan lp for $8 (though the sleeve is roached.)Alabama Woody wrote:
What else do they sell at digital planet? Is it worth the short drive out that way from Nashville to check out. That looks like a nice 45 box.
Thank you, sounds like the area has grown quite a bit. I need to go check it out.mangry wrote:Not much. It is really hit or miss as far as vinyl goes. We have a better record store in town called Little Shop of Records. They sell some good stuff. Both pale in comparison to Grimey's, but since you pass through here all the time on the way to Nashville it might be worthwhile to stop by. Little Shop still has rsd releases and they have lots of Dylan, Zep, Beatles, et al.
We also have a microbrewery called Mayday that is definitely worth checking out as you look for 45 boxes (see how I steered that back on track?)
I love this!runofthemill wrote:Here's one I found
