Um...you guys know he was probably referring to this thread and not the LR right? I doubt he takes the time to know the difference...but the things said in this thread about his last session have been super SHITTY.

I was trying to dutifully do my Jack White commanded duty to find these posts in the LR, but I can't find what he's speaking of... So my guess maybe it's here?

Also, seems like a bit of a knee jerk reaction. TMZ splashes all sorts of personal shit of his on the internet and then he threatens to not come on chat because some poorly informed fans can't adequately digest his metaphors?
I think the difference there is he doesn't generally take time out of his day to talk to the people at TMZ...

The annoyingly unavoidable by-product of JW coming onto Vault Chat is how I imagine it is when he steps out into public for more than ten minutes: too many people "yelling" and "screaming" mindless comments and questions. For me, when he's on, those people lessen the experience to no end. And subsequently trying to read everyone's comments AND his within seconds AND also wanting to ask something substantial is just mentally tiring.

Yeah but being that TMZ is essentially a shit tabloid rag, that kind of stuff is to be expected from them, and kinda comes with celebrity in any amount. Idiot asshole fans do as well, but I would imagine that as a celebrity of sorts, one would expect a little more from the so-called die hard fans who frequent your officially sanctioned forum...

I'm with woodisgood, vault chat when Jack is on just hurts my brain with a lot of the mindlessness that goes on, 90% of tge people in there seem to want nothing more than to speak in meaningless non-sequiturs or to just be there when he is even though they have nothing to say. I say ditch the twitter alerts and you'll cut out a lot of the insanity, and it will be what it's supposed to be, a semi-meaningful moment of conversation between Jack and the people lucky enough to be in there at the same time as he is...

There been comments on the whole TMZ thing both here and on the LR. Although its been strongly advised not to comment over at the LR.
