1 - 3" records

Post by MegBot3000 »

What happened with all the 3" records? Did you sell all of them, or are they sitting in a box somewhere? There were rumoured to be 1000 of each pressed yet only 400 inchophones were sold. Were individual sets ever sold on tour?

Yes, I personally sold all of them.
I seem to remember that individual sets of 3" records were for sale, but probably not for long.
Still, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bunch of them laying around somewhere. I've turned up stranger things in far crazier places.

Well no suprise, Kung FU found a box full of complete 3" inchophone record sets (sans Denial Twist).
I got that deep into variants once before with a collection, please shoot me if I go there again, it will drive you crazy I promise...
But nice stuff for sure.

Word is that Third Man Records has some for sale in Nashville, all tied up with a little red bow (like in LA.)

There were about 15 sets left when I left the store Friday. $175, I believe.
