I’ve got a spare ticket for tomorrow at TMRCC if anyone wants to make me their +1 for early entry Saturday in Detroit.

They should call this show Racontwoers Part Deux.

Haha, yeah. I am not really one to review shows either. I am not sure how to put it into words, but it was a lot different than what I expected, in a really good way. I expected more of an acoustic set of their new album and when they came out and started with Pink Floyd and then continued with a bunch of other (non Racs) covers, it was a pleasant surprise. Loved the set. Both were in a great mood. Crowd sang Jack Happy Birthday. It was a bit shorter than expected but it was right around the 45-50 minute mark which should allow for a nice LP in a future vault. It was recorded to tape, but they didn't have the cutting light on. I actually joked with a few people thinking it would have been funny if they were cutting the set live and by singing him happy birthday half way through, it would have put them over the time. Not the case though obviously.
Anyways, there are a ton of articles out there that can explain the night better than I can....but I am glad to have been there. Thank you to the person who gave me the heads up for tickets. I owe you.
