Yeah, what the hell is up with that? That is outrageous!! I had two of the Jack White notebooks in my cart (the little ones for $4) and the LP and it was going to charge me $36 for shipping... fuck that. Took the notebooks out and it was still $24..Coma16 wrote:Too bad shipping to Canada is like an extra $25... I haven't picked up the black version yet either (it wasn't yet in the record shop on Saturday)
To France, shipping was 40$. Didn't pull the trigger. I just can't afford ordering directly from TMR anymore.arewhyehen wrote:Yeah, what the hell is up with that? That is outrageous!! That's what I'm thinking. Would it be possible to frame it with the records, etc. still inside? I don't really want to break the seal.Bikedo wrote:Congrats, that's so cool.
I'd have it professionally framed.
Make sure the sleeve with signature isn't touching the glass.
If you go to the right framer, sure.camyorke wrote:That's what I'm thinking. Would it be possible to frame it with the records, etc. still inside? I don't really want to break the seal.Bikedo wrote:Congrats, that's so cool.

I would imagine they'd have to mount it in such a way that the front sleeve of the gatefold cover has support as well as the back sleeve, so that gravity won't end up pulling the front sleeve down and tugging on the sticker. But an inventive framer can definitely do things like that. Using a frame with some depth, like a shadow-box, would allow space for that and to keep the glass from touching the signature.camyorke wrote:Cool, will start looking!Kali Durga wrote:If you go to the right framer, sure.camyorke wrote:That's what I'm thinking.
