My girlfriend and I were talking about that earlier today. We both really enjoyed the live show in Toronto, both nights.rival wrote:For a guy who seemed to really enjoy himself in Toronto for two nights, it's pretty disappointing to only see he's playing BC.4/22 — Tupelo, MS — Blue Canoe

Re: Pokey LaFarge
Do they announce when shows at TMR go on sale or do they just put the tickets up and it's first come first served? Since I won't be able to do RSD, I'm heavily trying to convince the wife to go down to this show...

They will go on sale randomly online and then be available at the storefront. Gots to get their electronic updates to know for sure.rival wrote:Do they announce when shows at TMR go on sale or do they just put the tickets up and it's first come first served? What electronic updates do they have other than twitter and email? Not sure I can even go but it's good to know.

I've been really looking forward to seeing them again since Toronto, and was quite disappointed to see Vancouver as the only Canadian show. Hopefully they'll add more shows in the near future.....arewhyehen wrote:My girlfriend and I were talking about that earlier today. We both really enjoyed the live show in Toronto, both nights.

I'd recommend getting their tweets sent to your phone. That's allowed me to be fast enough to get tickets to every TMR show I've wanted to attend.rival wrote:What electronic updates do they have other than twitter and email? Not sure I can even go but it's good to know.

He gave MAJOR props to the crowd in Montreal too. Though that was just a couple days after the infamous Radio City stint.rival wrote:For a guy who seemed to really enjoy himself in Toronto for two nights, it's pretty disappointing to only see he's playing BC.

Re: Pokey LaFarge
I think I had a smile on my face the entire time they played both sets in Toronto. It was a huge surprise for me. My girlfriend and I were right in front of him in the front row and he handed us the setlist both nights and shook our hands. Just added that much more memories to a great show. So good to see a great band (Jack) and the opener is great as wellcmelo wrote:He gave MAJOR props to the crowd in Montreal too. The infamous Radio City stint at which maybe 20% of the audience bothered to show up for Pokey's set each night.cmelo wrote: Though that was just a couple days after the infamous Radio City stint.
