Tonight was one of the best solo performances I've seen him do for television. Fantastic from start to feedback interrupting Katy Perry at the end. Perfect.

It's a Nudie suit! Same guy that made his bone suit during the Racs second tour.Scarlet Siren wrote:I wasn't feeling the House of Liberace suit but after that INCREDIBLE performance I forgive Jack for wearing that monstrosity.
I liked his performance tonight, but I wouldn't say it was anywhere close to how awesome the WS were at the Grammys in 2004.candycaneboy03 wrote:fuck being on the west coast....BARELY about to start on my end -_- can't wait to see the performance now......sounds like he killed it even more than when the stripes did 7NA->Death Letter an awards show years ago (think it was grammy's as well)

Close. Manuel. Who learned from Nudie and married (and then was divorced from) Nudie's daughter. And moved to Nashville in '89. (Props to a friend who reminded me.)orangeshoeskid wrote: It's a Nudie suit! Same guy that made his bone suit during the Racs second tour.

Loved the suit, loved the performance, not bothered about the awards.

He killed it! As usual. Never seen him chuck his guitar like that before. Think he was pissed about the award snub? Maybe it was how awfully out of tune that guitar was? but that isn't his style, he's used to that.

He's hurled his guitar around (or hit the drums with it) many times before--it was a planned dramatic ending. He couldn't have been pissed about the awards because the big one was still to come.

he had already lost two to the black keys. the big one had the black keys and obviously more competition.
