I started beefing up my record collection about two years ago. Then, about a year ago a friend said "you have anything 3rd man?" Well, who's 3rd man I ask...and down the rabbit hole I went :P

Now here I am and very excited to be a part of this community!

I would say welcome to the TMR addiction support group, but we are mostly enablers here. So, welcome and good luck!

Ahoy!
Been checking out these forums for a while but finally want to get in on the action. My name's Tom, I'm from Australia and am a relative newcomer to collecting and listening to as much TMR stuff as I can. Probably properly began when I saw the Dead Weather play back in early 2010. Since then, haven't been able to get enough of the black (or any other colour) wax that comes out of TMR HQ. Hope to make a few buds and keep my collection going strong.
Now the first thing to do is do learn all of these abbreviations.....

Just joined today. I've been a huge Jack White fan for years, but just got in on vinyls last summer when I lived in Nasvhille for the summer. I'm a student and can't afford most of the rare collectibles on here, but I always do my best to get what I can. Maybe one day when I graduate med school I'll be able to get my hands on some of these rarities. Until then I'll just be jealous and in awe of those that can!

I've been meaning to post here...maybe should have done it before wondering into ISO forums.

My name is Sean. I work in NYC, live in Brooklyn. I work in digital advertising and have starting to use the Swirl as a distraction from Powerpoints and spreadsheets.

I have been collecting again for about 18 months. I was an amateur DJ in a former life and when I gave that up, I sold off all my vinyl. I missed the collecting part of it...so I like the challenge of hard to find stuff, thus my painful attempt at collecting tri-colors.

If I can ever help out with where to go, what to do while in NYC, feel free to ping me, especially if you are trying to figure out which of many of the record stores in town and Brooklyn.

Best,

Sean

Hey Guys,

Figured I would make an account and introduce myself after lurking for a few years.

My name is Matt and I am a professional photographer from Richmond, VA. Been collecting for about a year now.
Slowly building up my collection. Don't care about owning EVERY album I've ever listened to, or trying to get EVERY
TMR release, but I do admire certain limited releases such as splits and tris (as do most people) and am here to meet new people, add some
stuff to my collection and have some fun.

Been listening since '98 and ain't tired yet.

Glad to meet everyone! Anyone from VA feel free to PM me!

Thanks guys!

Hello,

My name is Kenny and I'm a 35 year old electrical engineer living in Brooklyn, NY. My father is a huge fan of the Detroit music scene and has been supporting the Detroit music scene for years with all of his purchases and recommendations. I have a nice collection of old school hip-hop but I've always tried to avoid plunging into the Jack White world due to how overwhelming it is. My wonderful wife finally pushed me in by buying me the Blunderbuss LP and encouraging my Vault membership. So, I'm sure I'll have lots of newbie questions.

I'm really impressed by how nice the form is.
