Fairly certain about this.

That's what I got. The B note is picked though. So A|-3-2p0-|. I need to get on my computer and tab it out completely.

I thought about notating the whole band's parts. Not sure about the demand though.

eabailey@songwriter.net brokenbricks.com has some of my tabs. Well copies. The dude is really good at tabbing, but Im pretty sure he snagged my Red Rain, Catch Hell, and Ball & Biscuit tabs. No biggie. He stopped when I stopped publicly posting WS tabs. Should be a big hint. I have the new ones(the ones AFTER bb stopped posting tabs). I have about 70/80% tabbed out to play with friends and other 20/30% in my noodle, not on paper.

I was speaking in terms of Piano, slide guitar, bass and drum parts. Though drum notation always seemed pointless to me IF you have heard the song. If you are in a session and must sight read, they are handy. But just give me the feel and I'm good to go on the drums.
Speaking of banjo, I need to rab out the Top Yourself Banjo version.

There's SOOo much going on there, it's crazy. I did manage to come up with a pretty damn fine answer to it though.

Did you listen to the interview jack gave he said it was just a basic beat that he added a tape echo to after it was recorded.

 I didn't read that, but it explains a lot!
Actually, it may well be one of my favorite drum pieces I've figured out. Trying to find something that "works" amongst that hullabaloo was damn fun!

i think the drums of Freedom@21 remind me of this particular song quite a bit ... despite the strongly divergent guitar departures

I dig Daru's intro on Freedom at 21. I play it like he does. Well no one can play like he does(I love the tilted Toms). I recorded a backing track because the drummer I use just couldn't get it down. I wish I could find a decent drummer!

On the album Carla azar plays the drums.

I know. That's why I said i dug Daru's version. I prefer the live version. Daru Jones' version in particular. Not a fan of Carla's drumming. Especially compared to Jones.

I think Carla has some serious chops and does a great job on these songs, but I do have to say that I also prefer Daru's drumming here. He has a controlled reckless abandon. Plus Jack seems to connect with him in a different way than he does with Carla. Overall, I like how Jack is with the Buzzards better. But, the vibe the Peacocks brings is awesome too. I think he will probably end up with a mix of the two if he is ever willing to settle for one touring band. Not that I don't love seeing Jack's Wild Bird Show.
Has everything you said today been true?
