I recently found this board while looking for a Rob Jones poster to add to my collection (of one...and counting) and have been browsing around ever since. The poster I am/was looking for was for an August 2005 show during the GBMS tour which is when I got my first two records (Seven Nation Army 7" and self-titled album) to start my small but cherished "collection". I got to see them live four times from 2003 - 2005 and picked up as many shirts and 7" singles as a bone broke high school boy could get. I remember reading about all the releases from the third man himself and from the littleroom but was often left overwhelmed by the amount of stuff and my lack of a credit card. This board has allowed me to get caught up on all the info/releases. I am no completist but there are a few items I have been itching to get my paws/ears on and I am excited to have found some of them on here plus much more. My initial search for one poster has restarted an obsession I can now indulge in AND I've found a way to deal with these white stripes withdrawls.

I look forward to readingbrowsingbuying and maybe one day my collection will beef up enough to start trading with all of you.

I joined a while back after finding out about it via the Little Room (my screen name over there is Dontmakemebill), and I figured its about time I say hi. I too am an avid collector, mainly of Flat Duo Jets/Dex Romweber stuff, my pride and joy being LP's of Go Go Harlem Baby and the Flat Duo Jets's first record. I've been using White Swirl as a reference for a while now and am super appreciative of all the advice/tips people have to offer about avoiding fakes/scams/etc. Looking forward to posting more and joining the community

Greetings i was directed to this forum after buying a single on eBay ,well i live in Bonnie Scotland and im a bit of a vinyl junkie last count i have around 1300+ albums
mostly rock , on a visit to a friends house i heard the sweet sound of the white stripes and that was it for me " i fell in love with a boy and a girl "
so i have been on a mission to get all i can without going totally silly ,mostly vinyl but i pick up the odd item to like the jack n meg doll set and the raconteurs stylophone etc
for anyone who has a discogs account and would like to see my collection its here http://www.discogs.com/mycollection. just the white stripes and Floyd stuff at the moment
i may be persuaded to part with certain items , im also always on the look out for items that i don`t have, but not the mega rare i can`t afford thousands .

I'm a big TWS fan since a long time and my collection grows.
i'm not into the stuff for the value. i play my records!
i live in berlin germany and my profesion is barkeeper, self employed.
only need an excuase for false spelling

its great that this forum is so active, i rather trade with friend
and fans then the the big e.
