I've never seen a box-of-goodies-mailed-monthly service I didn't like. Maybe we should have a thread going for them, seems like there are quite a few vinyl-related ones. You can put basically anything in a pretty box with tissue paper, if you mail it to me once a month (or once every three months, third man), I'm gonna love it and tell everyone about it.
