They're shipping as soon as I get the inserts, which should be early next week. Everything else is ready to go. :)

Just saw on the website that there was a Record Store Day special that is of course all sold out now. What was this?

It was announced that if you bought a Neon green regular, you would be entered into a contest for a variant that is not being sold.

Jett Plastic Recordings is proud to announce, in collaboration with Five By Five Records, the debut EP from Owensboro, KY artist Shane Devon! Devon is a singer/songwriter whose genre-hopping style lends itself well to the do-it-yourself tone of this release. The EP, titled Strange New Thing EP, will be released June 17th, 2014. It will be available online from Jett Plastic Recordings (http://www.jettplasticrecordings.com).

In addition, a limited-seating, invite-only CD release party is being arranged in which Devon and a handful of Owensboro musicians (including the inimitable Steve Grimes) will perform the entire EP front to back for the lucky few who gain entrance. This will likely be the only live performance of the EP ever!

First pressing of the CD is limited to ONLY 50 COPIES so you'll need to act fast to secure your copy! Devon and Grimes are set to hand-paint 5 CD covers as exclusive collectors items (more info on the hand-painted covers as it becomes available).

Keep an eye on http://www.jettplasticrecordings.com as the release date nears. You'll find all the info you need there!

haha Thanks, man. I wanted to do vinyl but it was just too pricey. Jett doesn't want to release CD's so I'm proud as hell he decided to partner up with my label (Five By Five Records) to get this done. Jett, thanks for believing in the EP man! It's been a fun ride so far. :D
