Re: Jett Plastic Recordings
My EP arrived the other day, a truly surreal experience. For those who would like a copy, we're moving the release date to NEXT WEEK. JUNE 3rd.
I'm real proud of this EP, the first collection of songs recorded at Five By Five Records (my basement studio). These songs chronicle my getting to know the makeshift pieces I've added to the studio little by little over the past few months, a Frankenstein's monster of thrift shop treasures and yard sale scraps. It was a fun experiment and I'm happy to share the results with you all.
Only gonna sell 50 copies and that's it. The CD will only be $5 and every penny will go toward the next EP this Fall. I really want to thank Jett for agreeing to distribute the EP, not sure I would've officially released it without him. I'll give you guys another heads up the night before. Thanks in advance for anyone who plans on buying one, really means a lot.

Re: Jett Plastic Recordings
When I decided to release a CD I knew it wasn't as special or magical as vinyl. So I set my mind to work finding a way to make it more special, more magical. Here's where I landed and I think you'll all dig it.
Introducing the limited Strange New Thing GHOST-O-MATIC CD Cover! Deactivated (closed) it's just an ordinary handmade cover. Not bad looking but nothing really interesting, right?
However, open the case and hold it up to the light. You'll get a glimpse of strange images from the past! Peer back through time at the ghosts of Halloween night 1960!
There's Red Riding Hood preparing to stalk her sleepy little town for some tricks and treats! And that's not all! Each limited cover has a different one-of-a-kind REAL vintage color transparency from that very night! All manners of ghouls and goblins! The covers will be signed on the back by myself and my partner in crime Steve Grimes.
The GHOST-O-MATIC covers will be numbered out of ONLY FIVE! These will be RANDOMLY inserted into orders of my "Strange New Thing EP" made from the Jett Plastic Recordings webstore (http://www.jettplasticrecordings.com) Tueday June 3rd and Wednesday June 4th ONLY!
Good luck! The sale begins at noon central tomorrow!

Re: Jett Plastic Recordings
Two and a half hours to go! I've had questions about the special covers. The sale will run from noon central today to 10 p.m. central tomorrow night. To be fair to everyone I'm going to assign random numbers to orders and have a number generator select five numbers. Those orders will get a GHOST-O-MATIC cover.
Thanks for support, everyone.
