This Could Go Boom! Records

Post by anonymousbrunette »

This seems like as good a time as any to announce this...

This Could Go Boom! Records is a label created to represent and amplify gender diverse voices (think womxn and intersecional creatives.) The label is a nonprofit brainchild of my band The OSYX. We'll be releasing our inaugural album as the label's first release and all proceeds will benefit TCGB!'s mission. You can pre-order our album in black or a pretty color on our crowdfunding page, or pick up a nifty turntable made of bamboo in miniature (courtesy of Gin & Apathy) and feel better about getting through the day. If you aren't quite sure how to support women in these strange times, consider this a damn fine option. I'm pretty passionate about it. Love & Rockets, Ara

Thanks for your support Shane! It’s an important project and the album is going to be excellent.

Well indeed you are. Thanks for the support! We're recording now but expect things to wrap up by the end of the year so we can get pressing.

I received my LP this past week. I've played it three times, and it's really great. I like "Scavengers" the best at the moment. Congratulations and well done to all involved. :D

Hold up... did my mother call you? Seriously though, thanks. It's a labor of love, so while it won't necessarily make the charts I'm grateful when people listen. Scavengers is very beautiful -where it counts.

I don't know where you are but The OSYX is touring in November. I at least owe you a handshake.

Ours arrived while we were on our honeymoon last week. I have been working a ton to try and catch up with things since getting back but I am hoping to give this a listen this weekend. Can't wait :D
