Being as progressive an artist as Jack is, I don't see him turning this down. How much more of a receptive audience can you get than one that organizes to bring you to town. Plus it's a venue with the kind of history that he appreciates.

Re: Billy Bob's Ft. Worth Tilt Campaign
won't happen.....
...on the current tour at least.
I could see him booking the venue on what ever his next tour is (dead weather?) but the Laz tour is on it's last legs and they have already said no new shows will be added.

They can say whatever they want, but the people are speaking now and I think he will listen. We should place a friendly wager.

They're not actually trying to book it for the current tour, are they, but for winter 2015-2016?

This thing definitely gonna Tilt. Corby mentioned it again on the Hardline (local radio show) tonight, and it got another boost. Only 500 away as of now. As to whether Jack will actually play? I dunno. but I'll be there if he does.

I'm going to start a Tilt campaign to get Led Zeplin to play at my local park. If people sign up they will have to come play....the people will have spoken! May try and do one for Abba the following weekend.

Tilt isn't like IndieGoGo, you don't get goodies for your contribution?
"And the message is clear: if we want Jack White as our hero, he will entertain, but not pander. We have to accept all his flaws, whims, caprices and manias as a critical, sometimes uncomfortable, part of the contract."

For every contribution you can have 1 record of your choice from my collection, but only if I meet my goal.Kali Durga wrote:I actually wanted some sort of goodie for contributing to Ben's campaign.bh1644 wrote:you get concert tickets... and now that it's Tilted can't wait to see how the TMR camp responds...Kali Durga wrote:Tilt isn't like IndieGoGo, you don't get goodies for your contribution?

If Jack plays this I would be very surprised. He'd just be giving into pressure and it would create a terrible precident. Almost any venue in North America could sell 1000 tickets to see Jack White, why would he do this one over anywhere else?
