I had to go to the TMRC facebook page and read the comments just to figure out who she was. Guess I'm out of the loop. :)

Miley performs over jack or any of the other greats!
Well at least got to see Jack sit in the crowd with his lady friend.
Hahaha, yeah! I saw who he was with. I was waiting for some of her big fans on here to comment. Are they.....dating?
Thinking the same thing..
I missed it. Who was he sitting with?

Not the slightest bit surprised.

We had plenty of that on the TMRC Facebook group last night.
why do we have to stop a conversation you had else where?

Not all of us are in some random facebook group....

Also I was talking about this show last night with my wife and friend in my living room....so now please no one else talk about it ever ....

Why tour discussion?

I think this was started before the airing because he was listed as one of the guests, so there was hope of him playing on the show...That is probably why it's under "tour" rather than general discussion or whatever..

I liked Paul Simon. Kanye I do not enjoy at all. Cyrus is probably good if your not from the "Billy Ray" generation. I did not and do not like either Cyrus.
What's did others think of the music?
They sure could have done better in the music department.
If Kanye was not part of the show it would have been better.
It was great for reminiscing with so many great
entertainers over the last 40 years.
All in all I was disappointed in it.

I don't like Kanye either....I didn't think his performance was any good. I loved how they were ripping on him during the show though. All in fun, but still glad it happened..haha

I thought it was lacking a bit too. For such a big anniversary, they could have picked a few artists with a little more connection to the show.....Miley??? Really? I know she had hosted and played the show before, but there are a few other bands that would have been much better

I felt bad for Sir Paul...he was obviously struggling with his voice.
I liked Paul Simon - The Boxer always gets me emotional with memories of my Mom and being a young child.
Admittedly, I don't know Kanye's music, but that performance did nothing for me - I asked my wife if it made her "feel" anything? nope. I guess it is not "art" for us. tired of him (and others) trying to turn him being a jackass at awards shows into a "cute" running joke.
Don't know Miley either. My wife had to explain the premise of Hannah Montana to me. ha ha. Her voice sounds put-on to me.
Jack gets the award for 2nd most awkward intro in a night full of awkward intros. Not his fault; the cut was weak. I think the production of last night was less than what we are used to, but it must have been insane with so many involved.

Joe Piscopo was best music for me because it was such a surprise and so smooth. it was great to see a bunch of skits that I had forgotten about. Jeopardy was my favorite. Awesome to see Garrett Morris. Wish Tracy Morgan would have gotten more. STEVE MARTIN IS THE MAN !!!
