I got there around 5:40 and ended up about 7 people behind the rail. When I was driving downtown around 1pm, there had already been about 15 people sitting in line with lawn chairs.

Great show! Haven't seen him in about two and a half years and he's really changed, in a good way, as a performer. He was absolutely on top of his game last night.

Really like the venue. Great sound and nice sight lines from pretty much anywhere on the floor. They didn't oversell it like a lot of places do, so they're was plenty of room on the wings and back by the bar to move around. Plus, beer was $5 and it's nice to not get gouged.

Didn't see any merch that looked new. At least not anything major.

Another great show last night. Enjoyed last night a little more, even if it was a bit repetitive for my tastes. It was definitely more of a "rocker".

Went to the Rob Jones exhibit yesterday, definitely worth the time. Doesn't take very long and about 75% of the prints are JW related.

I was hoping for Jack on piano and so I was happy I got to see that. I have yet to see two of my fave songs, I'm Slowing Turning into You and Ball and Biscuit, live. I think he played both Saturday. Go figure. But I loved last night...and he played Astro. :)

Me, too, please.

Interesting pair of nights. The show that I only saw half of, that I wasn't initially going to see any of, turned out to be my favorite of the two, though the second night was damned good, too. The security staff at the Austin Music Hall is the best. Was also great talking to you before the show last night, MichaelRox. I think you and I were the only people in our little area who were grooving to Chicano Batman.
