Please, please, oh pretty please, let Jack and Loretta sing a duet....

That would blow me away. Loretta sang the song solo when I saw her here in Owensboro quite a few years ago. To hear them sing the duet would pretty much be perfect.

Actually, what would really blow me away would be for them to do This Old House. That song makes me cry every time I listen to Van Lear Rose.

Whatever they do, and they have to do something together, it's going to be a total love fest up there on that stage. Even in D.C., at the 9:30 Club a year or so ago, Loretta talked about Jack during her show. 'bout time the two of them ended up having a gig together.

That was my 4000th post on Swirl, by the way.

I'm with you there. As long as they do anything together I'll be ecstatic. I already feel lucky to be seeing her at all. I was so bummed earlier today when they started hinting of a big opener because I hadn't bought tickets to this show because I'd already seen Jack this tour, but then I guessed Loretta on Twitter and won a pair of tickets!

Is it safe to assume that Hatch Show Prints will be doing the gig poster for this?
Anyone mind picking me up one? Early ISO, I know but you know the drill :)

Oh hell. I didn't think about that. I have General Admission tickets. Shit, I'm gonna have to sacrifice the poster for position. If anyone has assigned seats and is taking a friend along I may have some begging to do in your general direction.

Thanks for the congrats guys!

Also, I won't know if my tickets are GA or seated until they get here but if they're seated I may be able to help out.

Hmm, not sure . . . for the Ryman in 2012 there were Hatch prints, but also the Triple Decker.
