What did everyone think of Run the Jewels?
I was really digging them, I thought they were a lot of fun. Plus Zack De La Rocha joining them... I nearly lost my shit!

I play dumb like Columbo, and get my feelings hurt and move to New York like I'm Dumbo

I didn't mind Run The Jewels I agreed with you, I thought they were fun too. It was better than I expected and I thought a decent amount of the crowd was into them. It was nice to see them so hyped to be there. When Zack came out though... that blew me away and really surprised me. I wish he was on for more than half a song, but having him come out was amazing!HammerOfTheGods wrote:What did everyone think of Run the Jewels?

Can any of y'all who were at this show remember the context of when Jack was telling us about the good "aural medicine, A-U-R-A-L" coming from the stage?
"And the message is clear: if we want Jack White as our hero, he will entertain, but not pander. We have to accept all his flaws, whims, caprices and manias as a critical, sometimes uncomfortable, part of the contract."

Is that much bigger than other venue ones? I know it is the biggest one in my collection so far. I have four PJ, two Vedder, two Ben Harper and one Tool as comparison.hsp88 wrote:The MSG poster is 24" x 36" by the way

All mine have been 18 x 24, but they vary.Somniferous wrote:Is that much bigger than other venue ones? I know it is the biggest one in my collection so far. I have four PJ, two Vedder, two Ben Harper and one Tool as comparison.hsp88 wrote:The MSG poster is 24" x 36" by the way

All framed up. It's a big poster for sure.

Thanks, I cheaped out on this one by not going with a custom frame and mat. Since it was a standard sized print I just decided to buy a frame that was big enough for the print, but I tried to get a nice silver frame to complement the silver ink in the print.BigBayBlue wrote:I like the frame choice. Where did you buy the frame? I usually use the IKEA ones and center the poster on them if the frame is bigger.Dr.Zissou wrote:Thanks, I cheaped out on this one by not going with a custom frame and mat. It was already 50% off for this week. I wanted to get this one frames right away so I looked it up and this week they have an extensive sale on frames (as well as custom frames, but even with the sale it can get expensive) This one was only $32.Somniferous wrote:Nice.
