Trampled by Turtles should not be missed. Just sayin'
Don't believe the 60's was the golden age of pop. You glorify the past when the future dries up.

Re: Virgin Moble Free Fest ... Really??
Virgin Mobile just announced they will release 1,000 extra FreeFest tickets on Friday (5 Oct).
The $20 "Karma" tickets will only be available at the Merriweather Post Pavilion South box office and the 9:30 Club box office from noon to 6 p.m. (or until they run out) Friday. There will be a two-ticket limit.
Proceeds will go toward the Re*Generation House, Virgin Mobile's new homeless youth shelter in Washington. This is a final push so the shelter "won't have to worry about funding for at least two years," according to spokeswoman Audrey Fix Schaefer.

Fantastic show. (Kindly tolerate low-quality sentimental snaps.)
Jack seemed pleased as well. I will attribute his good mood to my dear friend's home-made sign...

^^ That really was the coolest thing. I'm glad there are photos of her holding it up, since it ended up being behind me when she did so.
And thank you very much for being where you were when you were, Ara. Your "sabotage" definitely worked in my favor, and I'm glad we finally had a chance to hang out for a few moments, even though I was distracted and probably rude because of it.
Hey, wolfeisjack, check out 2:04 through 2:24 of this, I'm sure it's a moment you and I will both remember for a long, long time--

I will NEVER forget that moment. I can't wait to see if Jo got photos of it. Probably one of the top 5 moments of my life.Kali Durga wrote:^^ That really was the coolest thing. I'm glad there are photos of her holding it up, since it ended up being behind me when she did so.

Re: Virgin Moble Free Fest ... Really??
It was fun just watching you both grab your spots, and so happy it worked out so well--worked out great for those of us who clung to the first row of seats (where the sign was) too. (How pathetic is it that I'm trying to pick myself out on the left of that picture?) But anyway, there were so many great moments to this show--for me, Ball and Biscuit was brain-melting.
