Jack's rare Beefheart single

Post by Kali Durga »

Kind of surprised I haven't seen conversation about Jack's recent acquisition over here at the collector's forum (and apologies if it is here somewhere and I missed it). Posted on TMR's Instagram and Facebook-- https://instagram.com/p/znemuujhZG/?modal=true

Agreed—this should have been mentioned here.

In case anyone wants to join this club . . .

Seems that most people post during the week. I'm sure someone would have got around to it.
Not that big a deal to me really but I'm not near as rabid a collector as most here.
I'm buying vinyl when I find an album that I want that comes from a high quality press like the ones from Germany on 180gm vinyl. Really like the albums that are pure analog, reissued or not like Mofi, Neil Young uses the plant in Germany. Many others.

Quality Record Pressings Releases http://qualityrecordpressings.com
Music On Vinyl http://www.musiconvinyl.com
Mobile Fidelity Recordings http://www.mofi.com

Just got the new Steve Earl album for $24.95 delivered from Amazon it cane with a Hi Resolution FLAC download !!!

This is the kind of stuff I've been spending money on lately.

Other than Grim and a bunch of TMR releases I shy away from 7" records. But it seems most collectors gravitate towards them.

There has been a bunch of records lately released from/for Dan Sartain. Not all high quality but I can't help myself, I got to have all the Dan stuff I can get my hands on.

So, staying on the subject ........ Not a big deal. To Me. But probably huge for other collectors. As long as it puts a smile on Jack's face ..... that's all that matters.

I'm still struggling with His hair do. I think in that pic He was too  It looks good when He has the chance to get it all "perfect" but that hair must make for many bad hair days

Not that He is smiling in the picture. But I'm talking about the smile when someone hooked Him up. Those smiles are priceless. Surprise vinyl is the best vinyl.
