Thanks for alerting me to that!! I tried dragging the file in. but apparently you have to sign into my account to watch it. I'll capture it and upload the good file tonight. Sorry about that!

Don't use that link that is in the quotes from the previous post!

Hope this reminds Jack to do a 'proper' release of the WS Peel sessions. Great performances that deserve better than to be relegated to some bootlegs of dubious origin. Would make a good vault pack, somewhere down the line.

I recently watched that Dan Rather interview and got inspired, so I wrote poem about it. It's titled "Yes Jack, We know..."

Yes Jack We Know.
Hide the Medicine in the Mashed Potatoes.
The Truth is in there. It's in the blues.
All things that are old are great.
All things that are new are not.
Impressing old men.

Yes Jack We Know.
Kids enjoying what they were born into is bad.
Sea of cowards is another name for the internet.
The Blues is the truth, The blues was first. I like the Blues. Everything else is shit.
Yes Jack We Know.

If anyone is interested, Jack's music (The White Stripes, Raconteurs, Dead Weather) has been used extensively throughout the British series 'Peaky Blinders' ( 1st series). I believe 'Peaky Blinders' is now available in U.S. on Netflix. 'Peaky Blinders' were a gang based in Birmingham, England (circa 1919) and named 'The Peaky Blinders' because they kept razor blades hidden in their caps to blind their opponents.
