I'm sure you all knew this but a pelican pecking it's own breast to feed it's young blood is a pretty old symbol representing self sacrifice and charity and is fairly widespread. Strongly but not exclusively linked with christianity. Other examples from google images:

Ya, I like this too. A lot of the old dead weather posters were based on famous artworks. I posted a bunch here awhile back.

IT's a concert poster...why would you not add it? Not all of them are going to have amazing art. It's pretty awesome art for a free poster to me.

Throw up an ISO thread and you might find one. It'll be on ebay though.
