Fly Farm...

Post by LaurieAK »

...Has anyone else had a listen? (Is there already a thread about this??)
It is very Ball and Biscuit-esque...which is a good thing. Amazing that it was off-the-cuff (I believe that's what I read).
I'm sooo glad I decided to order a single of Fly Farm since my 'bundle' had the tri.
I will drop that fact any chance I get 8-)
Seriously, I'm so thrilled to finally have tri-colour in hand.
And I really love Jack undiluted. He has such a distinct musical 'voice.'
Preachin' to the choir............

Kudos on the tri-color. I'm so happy to see deserving people get the goods.

Am I wrong or is Fly Farm Blues Jack White's first solo release? Were the Cold Mountain pieces considered solo works?

I'd say it's his first standalone solo release.

Is there no thread for this single? I contacted TMR about the pressing info because it was being misunderstood for some time to be 150, but I got my response email back, and the answer was 100. NOT 150.

Sorry, I did not clarify, many people have been misreading the original post about the 3 latest tri-colors as suggesting a run of 150...

This is what I got-

It was 100.
Thank you

Hello, there seems to be some confusion as to whether or not there are 100 or 150 Fly Farm Blues Tri-color 45s pressed. Can you please let me know. Thank you.

Cool!
Thanks for checking about the numbers.
It is my only tri.
I wonder if the other tri-colours were also a run of 100 still and not the 150 everyone assumed (?-or was it confirmed) happened when the random shipped order thing happened.

Interesting. I figured it was 150 based on the description of the mail order inclusion. Do you know who answered you?

The others (Mildred, Garniez, TMLYM, and Dex) were always clearly descibed as a run of 100.

Hmmm. I thought it sounded like it turned into 100 (available in Nashville) and then 50 random inserts for shipping. Thanks for letting me know.
