I like some riffs and sounds of a few songs, but there's too much random mixing. Respect commander could have been an awesome song if it was all like that middle to end part (part without the electric drum beat).

Still going to try for a few shows though

That's all the review I'll give it. Can't all be winners!

That being said, I will try to watch the live stream tonight because I am very interested in seeing this new band live. I have a feeling most of the songs will translate better in a live setting.
stream tonight? do tell.

The poster from tonight looks like half of a set and is incorrectly dated 04/23.

Trying not to read too much into that...

It's kind of weird to explain, but the album as a whole I don't really mind. It works for me and "makes sense". The songs individually didn't make sense/work on their own to me. I actually like it more than at least Blunderbuss. A few more listens for me to be sure if more than Lazaretto also

Had my first listen in the car yesterday. Nothing really jumped out at me to be honest, except maybe Over and Over and Over. The only other album he's released where I didn't hear anything I liked on first listen was Dodge and Burn, and I've not bothered to go back and listen to that one a second time. I'll give this one a second chance soon though most likely.

I already asked in the tour discussion thread. Does anyone have the full stream ripped and could share it?
Thanks!

Nobody could have ripped the whole stream cause the stream cut out, as you see in this one.

Oh OK, thanks. I didn't know that the end of the show was cut out.

What's the story with the cassette on eBay?

They were (are?) selling them at the storefronts.
