I've just found this on the rough trade website,

Anyone know anything about this? I can't find any info.
Weirdly as i type this We're going to be friends has just come on 6music in the uk.

I think it's a children's book that consists of the lyric of the song, plus illustrations. It was announced so long ago I can't remember the details.

Interesting that Amazon.uk comes up but I don't see U.S. Amazon. Lots of small shops, though, which is nice to see. And Target!

So I'm assuming the Rough Trade version isn't some crazy special signed copy or whatever. I'm going to wait for a U.S. pre-order and save around $15 on shipping. Yikes.
