Ah, have to admit I'm disappointed it's not a gatefold sleeve like Blunderbuss. Less artwork that way, but hopefully there'll be an insert like Blunderbuss had. And am I reading that price correctly??
Also, who do we think did the cover art?

Ah, I didn't remember that. But, it was also a gatefold so had more bang for the buck.
No guesses on the album art? Rob Jones, perhaps?

Well Blunderbuss was a 180 gr, fortunately Lazaretto is a 180gr too. But, with VP 20 it will be a 120 gr. ...

Could be iTunes has a quiet sweetheart deal with TMR. Just a guess—standard industry stuff.Alabama Woody wrote:They will get around to it, been busy ... I tunes is big $, not surprised that they do it first.

Y'know . . . the more I listen to this amazing shit-hot unbelievable track, I think there's a possibility the lyric might be slightly slightly amended . . .
And even God herself has fewer plans than me
But she never helps me out with my scams for free though
She grabs a stick and then she pokes it at me
"When I say nothing, I say everything"
Could be it's God herself that says nothing, not the character in the song . . .
Wouldn't be the first time in the history of religion someone suggests God doesn't respond when needed . . .

Re: Lazaretto
Glad an mp3 download is coming with the LP! This should be standard for all record releases in my opinion.
Blunderbuss retails for around $20 and I'd expect to find this one for about the same once released. It is a single LP so any more is too much.

Re: Lazaretto
Who distributed Blunderbuss, Columbia? It's most likely because of their involvement. These also showed up on Spotify pretty quickly too.woodisgood wrote:Could be iTunes has a quiet sweetheart deal with TMR.
