Nope, pretty sure it was just a one record deal.
Yah, and that one was only distributed by TMR. They didn't record it there or anything, they were actually shopping the finished album for a little while. TMR just released it.

Get to see them next Friday for the first time. A concert actually in my hometown and don't have to drive 3 hours. Pretty rare.

Might take a few listens to enjoy it. Pokey is one of the artists that I enjoy a lot more live than I do his studio stuff.

I haven't kept up with Pokey since his TMR LP, but I did love the lead single off of his last album and it looks like he's got his next one on the way.

The above statements still hold true, but I've recently been sampling tracks off his latest album and they're wonderful.

It's REALLY good. It has more of a soul influence than the earlier albums.

EXACTLY.
That's not to say I don't enjoy their older country and skittle skewed material, but after several albums of that sound it's good to see they can pivot and keep their material fresh. It really would be a shame for a voice like Pokey's to get swept under the rug when the audience for the revivalist twang fad dissipates.
