Re: Pokey LaFarge
What happens if you come to the show from out if town? I'm assuming the Black and Blues take a while to cut. If you don't live there, will they mail it to you or do they only give them out in store? Thanks.

They will mail it, but you have to pay extra.BrooklynKyle wrote:What happens if you come to the show from out if town? I'm assuming the Black and Blues take a while to cut. If you don't live there, will they mail it to you or do they only give them out in store? Thanks.

^^ Has that been confirmed? It wasn't on the Birchmere calendar a few days ago.

Re: Pokey LaFarge
Ah, thanks for the heads up about the Birchmere show being on Ticketmaster!
Unfortunately, I've been inundated by new old music lately and haven't had the chance to dig into Pokey's past. But I have gotten into some of Ryan's side stuff-- http://lonesomecowboyryan.bandcamp.com/ and http://lonesomecowboyryan.bandcamp.com/.Stl_ben wrote:Where is everyones ISO early hard find Pokey stuff?

Re: Pokey LaFarge
I was searching something about him and there's an NPR/St. Louis article/interview that states his given name. It's also now in his Wiki.
Funny thing is, I always thought it was something else! I guess the "something else" was a ruse!

If you post it here for any reason, could you use the spoiler option? I like not knowing.woodisgood wrote:I was searching something about him and there's an NPR/St. Louis article/interview that states his given name. It's also now in his Wiki.
