Vault #20 (Pre-Announcement Discussion)

Post by Jettkoral »

Never too early, amiright?

I'm hoping for...
Alternate Lafayette Blues (I heard it exists?), JW B-Shows DVD or LP, new Dead Weather 7", Dead Weather slipmat, Jack White pajamas, Jack White hotel travel kit, etc

IDK what I want. But it has to be 4 LP`s. That it must.

You want a dusty record?

It's actually dust on the lens, not the record. And yes, I'd rather have a dusty record than some hissy cassette any day of the week, month, or year.

A cassette as the bonus item wouldn't bother me too much. It could sit on the shelf next to all of those DVDs. Wouldn't like a cassette as a replacement for vinyl.

Since they've started down this road, how about a 7" GBMS box set. The complete record on 7"s in the same style box. Announced in early April in conjunction with the RSD GBMS LP reissue.

The one note concert 12" single. Splatter vinyl though. Got to class it up.

The concert should be in a loop.

a white stripes triple decker record with the 12" being the denial twist single and inside being a 7" version of top special. And of course GBMS on colored vinyl. and a new dead weather single.
Birds of a feather may lay together, but the uglier one is always under the gun.

Jack White B-Shows double LP
Two new Jack White songs on a translucent blue 7"
The second new DW 7" split color black/yellow
+
The Elephant Documentary DVD as a bonus item

I think it would be the perfect last 2014 package, ready for the GBMS 2015 reissue

Jack's new album (before the rest of the world), new DW 7" and the Neil Young recording booth single. (On a variation of split vinyls)
THIS would be the ultimate Vault 20.
