Interesting that I got that e-mail, too. I signed up at the Gold level within the first week because I wanted to be able to post comments at the Vault, thinking that I'd be able to just upgrade to Platinum after the #17 announcement. I then found out that they're not set up for upgrading, so I planned to cancel Gold and pay for Platinum before the end of this month.

So Gold apparently really doesn't count for much of anything, if TMR doesn't even recognize Gold members as being subscribed.

Do you think this vault pack just isn't selling as well as expected or something? I've had my subscription lapse for a few days before re-signing up before but can't remember ever getting an email from them about it.

I'd bet that this e-mail is at least partially due to the changeover from Modlife Vault to TMR Vault. They might figure that some folks who haven't yet signed up again are still confused about the switch.
