$100.00.
*NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
*ONE PER PERSON

FROM THE DESK OF BEN BLACKWELL:

Hey kids, check it out…

Some eagle eyes down in the warehouse just caught a spell of 20 or so copies of “Lazaretto” where the back cover art has been applied upside down. More may have gotten out there, we’re not entirely sure. But since this tends to be a place where folks tend to dig this sort of thing, we’re offering ‘em up for sale here. Limit one per customer, priced accordingly. Good luck.

Did anyone go for one of those misprinted Lazarettos?
They were pulled from the store by morning.

I have for the most part stopped paying attention to TMR stuff aside from checking out the vault package announcements but them trying to hock those for $100 just felt so low.

I understand where you’re coming from, but at the same time I feel like their response would be; “Well, people will sell it for that much and beyond” and you know what? I absolutely think folks would. If there were twenty of those up at even $50.00 a pop within two weeks you’d see six for sale with an asking price of $100.00 a piece or the equivalent in trade.

I think the books been up since last week, but I’m surprised about the blue acoustic still being up as well. Especially with all the buzz of a new album you’d think folks would be clamoring to fill holes in their solo collections. Is it an essential release? Eh... but if I hadn’t already bought the standard black I might’ve went for it. At least there are a few unreleased and reworked nuggets in there, but I don’t know if there’s enough to justify buying a second copy for me personally.

Oh, and I have since seen a few people posting their misprinted Lazarettos around the interwebs. It could make for a neat little oddity for some of the hardcore collectors if found for the right price or trade. If it were Blunderbuss I might’ve given it a go.

Why Blunderbuss, but not Laszretto?

No reason in particular.
Blunderbus is just one of my favorite albums.
