Close To The Edge
Re: Close To The Edge
I watched it last night, when I noticed it was on their YouTube Channel. It's pretty epic and so hilarious. It looks like it should be WAY older than 1999.

Jack should've worn a big hair wig.

wow.
I still can't wrap my head around exactly what that was.
It looked like part car commercial/part late-night music show.

Jack White's first music video? Hilarious!
For those of you that haven't ran across this, third man has released the video of Jack playing in a commercial for car speakers. it was only played at an auto show in 2000. Its gloriously cheesy. Hey, a man's gotta eat, right?

Also, check out the other video on the page. He is a member of the 'band' backing a lame crooner on his terrible song. But keep in mind this was on 2000. When you are a struggling musician, youll do Any way to make a buck... Especially if it involves music. I've played on terrible tracks as a sit-in/studio guitarist... Including commercials.
