The Dutchess and the Duke have made two albums of wonderfully sincere, heartfelt and true songs. Their self-described “campfire punk” is equal parts beautiful boy/girl harmonies, subdued finger-picked acoustic guitar pairings and minimal percussive accoutrements. In short…it’s sublimely compelling. After a hiatus of a few years, they’re slowly creeping back into live performances and Third Man could not be happier to host them, recording direct-to-acetate in the relaxed, intimate setting of the Blue Room.

Oh cool! I love them. I was at both of their album release shows. I'm so happy they are back together.

Listened to their song "Mary", good stuff.
This is a release I'd look into.

I’M GONNA STAB HIM RIGHT IN THE BACK
PUT HIM IN THIS HOLE
AND HE’LL NEVER COME BACK
