Peter Walker Live at Third Man Fri July 18

Post by mangry »

Peter Walker is the last living psychedelic guitar maestro in a long line of greats like John Fahey, Robbie Basho and Sandy Bull. His prowess is almost indescribable. His comprehension of a vast number of musical styles…Spanish flamenco, Indian Raga, etc, will be on display in full-force for his appearance at Third Man. This may be the best guitar performance you will ever see.

PETER WALKER

Well, looks like part of my proceeds from canceling my vault this time around will go toward my ticket and the black and blue for this show! Third Man always finds a way to take my moneys.

I would guess it is a BnB, but we shall see. I am really excited to see William Tyler opening up.

It says on the ticket page you can pre-order the black&blue for Peter Walker.

It doesn't mention if William Tyler will have one or not though...I would REALLY like a William Tyler 7" B&B if they have them and anyone isn't interested.

I was reading up on the old guy on Wikipedia and it said a bunch of new artist were wanting him to put out a new album. These were young bands that dug his music and wanted to hear it again so there you go, TMR to the rescue !

I wish I could but, alas, distance...
"And the message is clear: if we want Jack White as our hero, he will entertain, but not pander. We have to accept all his flaws, whims, caprices and manias as a critical, sometimes uncomfortable, part of the contract."
