Blind Blake, Ma Rainey, Papa Charlie Jackson, Jimmy O' Bryant, and Ethyl Waters all in one? Wow. That's great. Hope that this is affordable.

My first thought was that this sounds like something I'm going to really want. Before I'd even scrolled further down the page to see them, these posts had already summed up my second and third thoughts.

I can't believe I'm going to be a TMR apologist here—clearly I'm not busy at work this moment.

But, to be fair, if there's a special edition (of which the photo seems to suggest), surely that will be "cost-prohibitive." But TMR always provides a regular version, so I suspect that version will be right in line pricewise of similar box sets (whatever this one may consist of).

Some work just dropped on my desk—back to it . . .

No need to be an apologist for them on my account. I've been fine with that setup for the past few years. But if this turns out to be as beautiful as that tease implies, it might be the first time I listen to my regular-sleeve, black-vinyl copy and shed a tear over not being able to afford the fancy variant.

But then, it is only a tease and we dunno yet exactly what's coming.
