Re: TMR Live to Acetate - The Kills, Shins & Seasick Steve
I have only seen him the one time at TMR, but I thought it was great! It sounded like King Tuff to me, comparable to all the live shows he has on YouTube. His guitar did have a major catastrophe during the last song and became completely detuned...the last thing he said was, "What the fuck happened to my guitar?" I bet that song won't make the cut. Other than that, I dug the show.flattop2001 wrote:How was the King Tuff show? I was talking to somebody when he played Palm Springs who was also at the TMR show, asked about it and his comment was "He stunk the place out, worst show I've seen him play" he didn't seem to be joking.

I think they sound better. Only one I haven't listened to yet is the Shins.

anyone give the Kills lp a listen? Hows the quality on that baby?
i ask because the Jack white live at TMR vault lp actually left me with the feeling of something to be desired, audio wise...sounded a bit thin....then again, not sure what i was expecting from a live album....or perhaps i just need a better turntable setup....

The guy at my record store said to me that he can get all of them, without me even asking about them. that's what i call a great service!Mick III wrote:I want Seasick Steve live performance but i live in France ... So disappointed that is not shipped in the rest of the world.
You should check your local record dealer...
