Well the Catalog says 300 Karen Elson Honey Colored 7"s too, and there is no way possible that number is correct if several stores got 50 of them plus TMR sold them all day for RSD and didn't run out.
They clearly meant 300 laser cut laces...they'll correct it in the near future I'm sure...

They may not go back up until they become more scarce on eBay and the Stripes single is hyped. There's still a surprisingly large number of people out there who don't know what's on the A-side of the single.

Then again, maybe $300 is where this one lands. Fine by me, mine's worth around half that at the moment. 8-)

This is my favorite TMR release. If the price keeps falling I may stock up on these bad boys. Stack em like chord wood.

So do we know if D. Watusi is the b-side band? I've listened to it several times, and I think it's outstanding...just ripped the whole 7'' to my iTunes so I can listen on-the-go...but do we know if it's D. Watusi?
shaneoftheroad wrote:Spinning the shell again now. :) The entire A-side plays after the first half of the first track and the whole 2nd half of the B-side plays. So all is not lost.
This is exactly the same with mine. My broken Triple Decker looks pretty darn similar to yours in breaking style, and in that a large chunk broke off as well.

Well, the B-side is a cover of a Public Nuisance song, the first one on the album. I'm positive it's Dillon Watson singing (D. Watusi). As for the rest of the band . . . :?:

B side is magical music box. No idea who is playing but sounds like DW on vocal and could easily be Jack on guitar.

D'oh, how did I not even realize it was the same as the FIRST TRACK of the LP? Maybe because I cracked mine and only listened to it once  I feel dumb! I have a black copy I need to listen to now.

I remember Blackwell saying at the first NYC RRS stop that the b-side is "someone people should know". I'm not sure whether D. Watusi would qualify.

Explain how they wouldn't qualify?
Ben has a D.Watusi single on Cass Records. I would think that he thinks that if you don't know, then you should.

I don't know though because I don't care.
