I think flexis are neat for sure. I don't think paying an arm and a leg (see what I did there?) for one is worth it. However, as far as vinyl toys go, this one beats the lfr for sure.

Someone may have already posted this, but here's a short blurb about this release and the history of Flex-Rays-- http://motherboard.vice.com/blog/jack-w ... cal-x-rays

More here-- http://dangerousminds.net/comments/vint ... rom_russia

Very cool photos. They make me really want one of these.

I am emailing sales@tmr to ask if they are working on an alternative shipping method.
Doubtful there are any other options though
First-Class Package International Service $16.75
Hi, this is the response I had from Cam when I queried the international shipping costs to the UK. It seems it may affect the Vault packages also after #15. I hope the cost doesn't go up so much that I have to reconsider my membership :(

Thanks for your email. As it turns out, the increased shipping costs ran across the board and will affect all orders shipping internationally with USPS. For package #15, it will not affect the Vault costs. However, it is already a serious consideration for future packages. It is a top priority to keep the Vault as affordable as possible for Vault members while still maintaining a smart business model. We will keep all members posted with more information as our plans come more fully together.

Thanks,
Cam

So funny to hear someone from TMR use the words "smart business model". But what he's talking about is definitely not funny.

postage might end up rising for more than just international shipping. I just saw a news alert that the USPS is ceasing Saturday delivery to save some money. They are in a dire financial situation due to Congress not agreeing on how to help them (no surprise there). But along with no Saturday delivery (except for packages), there will probably end up being some signifigant price increases down the line.

My work is blocking the content. Hope it is still up when I get home. Do you think they are offering the whole track because pre-orders are lower than normal? I might assume that has something to do with no mail-order luck possibilities, if that is the case.

No chance of a random + increased shipping rates = minimal international sales.
