Haha, I have no idea. I was really proud because mine never leaked and then several weeks ago I realized it wasn't as full.

Has anyone who sealed their LFR experienced leaking?

I sealed mine with crazy glue as well as a hot-glue gun. So far it's been fine.

Crazy glue really does spoil the look of the record :-(

Do you mean the slight haze on the plug hole? In my mind, a blue watermark on the label is more unsightly. ;)

I sealed the spindle hole and added some glue to the fill hole. so far, knock on wood, no problems at all.

Hey guys,

When I got mine it had already been leaking a little, as soon as I got it I sealed the edge with crazy glue and the fill hole and the centre. Since then the liquid has still gone down so I guess the comments I saw recently in the for sale thread are right in that they must evaporate or something...

My guess is that the liquid is slowly getting soaked up into the interior cork. The more surace area of the liquid is in contact with the center, the faster it happens. If that is the case, once the level is low enough to not touch the cork that should stop. Just a theory.

I'm adding pics here to of my record. It's either evaporation or absorption into the cork as suggested, but I really don't know. It's not leaking or seeping out anywhere. I do know that it's a bummer though.

I only wanted to be good enough, but I'm not.
