Can i tell which vault package these are w/o opening them?
I haven't done much with my vinyl in a few years so my wife has asked me to begin selling my TMR farm. I've got a handful of older vault package and some are still sealed. Is there a way to tell from the shipping label what is what without opening it? Do most of you collectors care if it's even open?

Couldn't you tell by the date stamp which package it would have been?

Thanks. I found one that was opened and have been counting up/down from there.rsimms3 wrote:This.Aquamarine wrote:Couldn't you tell by the date stamp which package it would have been?

Or why not open the mailer?! As long as the record is sealed why does it matter if the mailer is or isn't?!

Idk, I figure some collectors are uber picky and want everything handled with white gloves in a dust free environment... or at least that's my experiences with poster collectorsStl_ben wrote:Or why not open the mailer?! As long as the record is sealed why does it matter if the mailer is or isn't?!

In my experience most people want them out of the mailers so you can see if there is any damage to the records. You can't see seam splits and bent corners through mailers and tons of these vault packages suffered both of those things.
