While I don't believe that Lazaretto will go down in history as one of the records Jack is remembered for and I personally feel that it's not as good as Blunderbuss, it's still damned good and I also listen to it frequently. That said, I wish the Muppets would use YouTube so I could post this video of Jack and Sam the Eagle here directly-- http://themuppets.tumblr.com/post/14035 ... dos-on-the

Same car he drove in 'It Might Get Loud' right?
Or something, I feel like I've seen it somewhere before.

No, the car in It Might Get Loud was his Thunderbird.

I think Lazaretto is the best album Jack's released outside of the Racs and White Stripes. But I also think that The Muppets should now be his full time touring band so who cares what I think?

I thought Lazaretto was infinitely more interesting than Blunderbuss, which gives me major hope for album 3.

I would sleep on a sidewalk for that show.

I think Laz is better than a Stevie Wonder cover ... Times 10.
I think the muppets show was a hoot but I see no need for it to be pressed to vinyl.

I've been listening to the song a bit through Tidal.
The beginning has me rolling my eyes.
It sounds like a cross between Freedom at 21 and Missing Pieces, but once the horns kick in I'm on board.
I dig Jack's vocals on this one too.

I’M GONNA KILL MY BROTHER JACK
I’M GONNA STAB HIM RIGHT IN THE BACK
PUT HIM IN THIS HOLE

Is the Pre-order for the green version, or is that TMR physical only?

Green = TMR RSD physical location exclusive

I'm going to disagree and say lazaretto was better than blunderbuss. I like both but think lazeretto is a heavier more guitar driven album, which I like. Blunderbus is more piano driven which I am less fond of, just one mans opinion. But it def was a good album, sorry.

while what you say is true, lazeretto - guitars, blunderbuss - pianos, blunderbuss has much better songs. therefore, blunderbuss is the better album.

So you're putting this firmly at 9 of what, 12?

Best album outside of White Stripes and Raconteurs only leaves 3 other albums that it's better than.

Being the best album outside of those two bands does not necessarily mean that it's not as good as the entirety of those two band's catalogues. What I said would still be accurate even if I ranked it third behind only one Stripes and one Racs album.
