I'm in slight shock after ordering this. I had thought that I would never get a chance to own this and if I ever happened upon the box set in the wild it would be marked up at a crazy price.

And no... No one can have my AB. ;P

Glad folks who really wanted it are getting it !

It sucks that shipping has gotten so expensive for over seas folks
The rates went up yet again recently. USPS at fault for that.

Ordered yesterday. And shipping is $70.30 for me
But I know I would regret the rest of my life if I didn't buy it when it was available.
After all it's only money.
Thanks TMR for letting us overseas people get a chance :D

Sad story about the nice guitar. Jennifer Jason Leigh reaction in the movie was really fantastic, know we know why, it even made it on the soundtrack.

This makes me absolutely sick and Tarantino knew exactly what he was doing. I applaud Martin for saying "never again" to the film industry.

I read somewhere they were supposed to cut before the actual guitar got smashed so they could replace it with a replica. But if I was the one who loaned the guitar that wouldn't make much difference to me. Leigh's reaction kinda shows Russell wasn't supposed to smash the actual guitar. Unless Tarantino pulled him aside or something, which I suppose is possible.

I watched the film and I loved it.
I am ashamed to say it was the first Tarantino film I watched at the cinema and the 2nd ever watched by this director (the other being From Dusk Till Dawn ages ago).

I wish they didnt make that ugly and inconvenient box to accompany the limited edition.
The 7" set and the pin looks very cool.
The alternative 12" is redundant too.
Put the 7" in a nice cardboard folder and add some trinkets and you made a nice and affordable set.

What is the inside of the box like? Is it not for record storage?

I seen photos which showed the bullet holes aren't protected from the inside, plus those bolts are sticking out too. Basically it's a box which doesn't protect but is set out to harm your records.

Kinda fits the theme of the movie, then, doesn't it?

Lot of protecting going on in the movie, too, though (cryptic but spoiler-free comment). ;)

Not that it did any good!
