Wouldn't the variants be $15 a piece so that's 4 singles, a free box and shipping.

More like $60 for a box that needs to be filled with a $20 bundle of the 4 singles in black. But you have 4 sleeves left over for "art" :)

I'm feel like raped when I saw that this morning. Here in France, I paid 80$ for the VP19. 20$ was for the shipping, and apparently 40 was for the box (pretty cool, more than the 7") and shitty colors...

Well, here's the sleeve from before:

Here's another generic sleeve for an XL record:

And here's the new cover:

When I feel like complaining about the vinyl on the vault package, I like to remind myself that reupping on a sub par package led to buying JW record store day tickets. Hashtag consolation prize. 8-)

also paying for the color of the wax, which in the long run will make them much more sought after and valuable.

"Later in 2014 each of the singles will be available individually, on black vinyl, with no box, to the general public."

That was the last line of the announcement for #19. They're running a little behind, but they're doing exactly what they said they would. It's not like this was a secret.

Meh, I knew at the time I was paying way over the odds for 4 singles and a box... 19 was an uncharacteristic low for the vault - I just gotta remember that in recent times its been absolutely brilliant...

Hell I love the box and sleeves. There has only been two VP I have not liked so much. The vinyl in VP19 and one 12" that the sound quality makes it hard to listen to.
