I got green myself. I was about to give up looking for it, too. I live in a relatively small town so my record store had really limited inventory of the releases I really wanted (ie: I scored the ONLY COPY of The Velvet Underground,1 of 4 Otis Redding, and 1 of 5 of Whirlwind Heat). All of a sudden, someone across the store yelled "ANYONE STILL LOOKING FOR WHIRLWIND HEAT???" and I raised my hand and squealed so fast he handed it over to me. Anyway...here's a pic of it:

I got purple here in the UK. Its kinda opaque- neither solid colour or clear.

Not sure which is supposed to be yellow and which is orange.

I was unable to score Ultra Tickets, so I stayed home and hit up several stores in my area. It helped that WH are from the city I live in. They actually played a few of their first shows in a record store here (Vinyl Solution (which is now defunct, although the shop owner has since opened another location under the name Vertigo)). There were many copies available at most shops I was at.

I figured I'd pick up multiple copies to see what some of the different colors looked like, pick my favorite, and trade off the rest.

Ahh. My local has several copies, and I really wanted to buy one but as much as I love the album, I couldn't justify a second one. I like your idea, though.

Wow, Vinyl Solution. That throws me into the way back machine. It was a great store. I remember going there for a midnight release sale for PJ's VS. Loooong time ago!
