Frank Fairfield tri color has a small hole, while the black release has a large hole.

So after getting the 2 newest tris at SXSW there is a very noticeable difference in quality. For starters they have small center holes instead of the standard large jukebox holes. More noticeably would be that the tri colors aren't a 33/33/33 split, but more of a 50/25/25 split. Anyone taken the URP tour or have any other inside info on why these are different now?

Rushing the process probably. My White Stripes tri-color from whatever vault package that was is more of a 60 30 10 split.

You are awesome, get right down to the "thick" of things !!! I love it. Quality is going down, prices are going up. I think I might weigh my sunrays and see.
I was listening to my Horehound yesterday, one of the first records I ever got from TMR. It is heavy weight, beautiful sleeve, beautiful colors and was cheap, the first tri colors sure were a lot prettier and $5, I think pretty soon the black and blues will be to light to play, just novelty items. Somewhat disappointed. Got to admit, somewhat disappointed.

Remember when most tri-colours were more than $400. Those were the days...

They are yellow, black and white. Except when they are red, black, and white. Oh, and legend has it that once, in the long, long, ago, there was one that was red, white, and blue.
Hope this helps

I still collect tri's and TMR in general. Don't know why some days, certainly no to make a fast buck. Probably a habit that I can't quit like smoking. Missing about 1/2 dozen tri's and 1 or 2 LPs. I've noticed a reduction in the quality of the LP pressings but really noticed it with the 7"s. B&Bs are very poor these days.
•<Jack White> we also want to come up with vault packages you don't like, a streaming service to make rich people richer, a t shirt
too big for you, and a bunch of shit you don't want but we're hold ing a gun to your head to purchase.

If you haven't got a tri yet then you haven't tried very hard.
Between the WS vault one, ones they have sold in the vault store, and falling prices on eBay...
If you don't have one then you must not want one bad.
