IF? Seriously welcome aboard and be prepared to take out a second mortgage very few people escape once they are caught in the swirl.

'ello folks!

I'm Matthew from St. Louis Mo. I've always kept my eye on the Third Man releases and picked up one or two when I can but I just ordered a good chunk to add to my collection. I go pick em up from the post office today! But I'm definitely more of a casual collector and am happy to get my hands on whatever I can. I'll probably be pretty scant around here but you'll see me chip in on occasion.

Hi all. I'm Mandy, shaneoftheroad's wife. Joined the board a while back but have never posted anything, but Jack completely blew my mind in Memphis, so it's a good time to start.

Hey there, my name is Josh and I am unfortunately living in South Carolina. I'd much rather be in North Carolina and I am planning on moving up there soon. I moved out here about 5 years ago from Long Beach, CA where I was the original president of the Turbojugend in Long Beach. I am originally from the dusty-hell-hole that is Phoenix, AZ (Hi Duncan!)

I've been collecting records since I was 11 and used to have a nasty habit for Sub Pop Mailorder. I've been collecting The White Stripes for years (No, I don't have the SP Single yet...), and I've been collecting TMR since just after the Triple-Decker Record came out. I think TMR is hands down the best label out there for sheer awesomeness of releases. I both love and hate the limited exclusivity of their releases and have recently given up any hope of a "complete" collection. It just doesn't seem reasonable.

See my list here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AikKVI1bfqDFdDEwanV2Y2dCdDVMSGhqc0kzTDNManc

I'm really active over at Fat Wreck Wiki (http://www.fatwreckwiki.com/phpBB3/) and I also post over at The Little Room, the Amphetamine Reptile boards, Element Owner's Club and the mc chris boards. I should have been posting over here more, but honestly I spend most of my board time on FWW. I'm not a huge fan of Vinyl Collective, but I can be seen there as well.

I love talking about records, collecting and the cool new shit coming out. Isn't it fantastic that it seems like most of the top innovations are coming from TMR!?

If I had any brains and no heart, I would make it my full time job flipping rare records. I know people who do it and don't have to work anymore. Just wait until the bubble bursts.
