I've had a few messages indicating there was a strange error overnight last night and some PMs and new posts have disappeared.
We are looking into it, but likely those things are now lost. Apologies and please re-post if desired!

I've also had this problem, and haven't received any Emails about PMs that I have received in last 24 hours.

From our webhost:

I was out at a concert so I didn't get the message until now..
Hello,
You are receiving this message because your mysql hosting services are being affected by hardware maintenance due to issues with your shared mysql hosting server.

Due to issues with the RAID stability, we are replacing the hardware for this server and will be restoring all data from our most recent backups to the new hardware. The new hardware is setup, the operating system just finishied being installed, and soon we will be creating the mysql services and starting the restore from backups. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we’ll update this post in the next 30 minutes or as soon as progress is made, whichever is sooner.

A little bit about the restore process: once the individual mysql services are running and the backup connection is established, we will begin restoring databases for all services. Databases may start to come online during the restore, in alphabetical order to the database name.

Please note, these backups were performed on 2012-07-28 from 1am to 3:40pm PDT. These are the most recent backups available and what we will be using. Unfortunately changes made to the database from the time these backups were made until now will not be recoverable. If you have more recent backups, you can restore your backup as soon as the database comes online and your changes will not be overwritten.

Please note, we’re only able to monitor the status of the individual mysql services and not individual databases. Once the ‘all clear’ is given by us, if you’re still having trouble with any specific databases or access to the server, please let us know the specifics, so we can take a look for you. You may contact us either by replying to this message from your inbox, or by submitting a support ticket in the panel, under Support/Contact Support.

This notice will also appear on that page in your Panel and will be updated throughout the process with the latest details we can provide.

This incident is only related to the shared mysql server, and no other servers or services (such as email) are affected.

Thank you for your patience!
The Happy Server Fixing Team

You're not supposed to be out having fun while some of us are trying to get our Swirl fix!

I posted last night about problems I was having with the board format, having recently switched back from Chrome to Firefox, and when I logged on today it was fixed, and I thought "what service!"

Then I discovered my post was one of the ones that disappeared. :?

Sorry gang. Moderators logging in this month have had to deal with hundresds of spam posts/topic approvals and no doubt left the higher ups running for the hills if they didn't have three hours to spare. Things on the back end are cleaned up a bit now. If you're having specific problems still please post here or hit up Ian directly.
