Well hello you!

In light of excitement on related boards over the last day, and recent rabble-rousing here on the Swirl, your friendly moderating crew would like to remind you of our Rules and Guidelines. In particular numero 5. Be nice. Be cool. Hoard vinyl.

Cheers.

oh, the humanity.
I'm actually a fan of your snarky comments. But, then again, what do I know.

Just a reminder that the report button is still working, thanks to those who are using it.

Rules and Guidelines question: I thought there was rule about not posting bootleg recordings of shows and/or leaked albums. Was that all my imagination or has this maybe now received the green light?

Well I think Rolling Stone magazine linking to a reddit members rip doesn't make it officially ok....
Also been several other requests and postings of links to downloads/rips.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for it as I have never paid for a digital version of music....but from what I understand this sites rules were just a firm don't post it.

I think one of the "rules" was if you are going to post it, put it in a spoiler so it doesn't get picked up in a google search (or something like that?)

I don't see a rule. Do you see a rule?

This reply will be wholly unsatisfying but posts such as these are handled on a case by case basis. In general moderators try not to undermine TMR or the artists we know and love. There's a pretty good chance that most of the people on this forum already own - and have paid for - multiple copies of the songs from the Bonnaroo set. Moot point now since its been officially released. But your unrelenting oversight of the boards is always appreciated. ;)
