How Long Does the Design Phase Take?

Post by kevron6 »

How long on average does it take you to design a print? Have you ever experienced a time when you had the artist’s equivalent to an author’s writers block? If yes how did you get through that?

Depends. Anywhere from a day to two weeks. If I become stuck then I just hammer away until I have something in the last hours before the printer absolutely needs me to send in separations . Sometimes this yields a great result (White Stripes tenth anniversary poster) or a horrid one (Raconteurs 2008 Hollywood).
I always said, if I had to fuck a guy... I mean had to, if my life depended on it... I'd fuck Elvis.
